Discontinuation of Best SwitchTech Product Line

Dormakaba has announced that the SwitchTech product line will be End-of-life as of December 31, 2026.

The SwitchTech mobile app reached end of life as of January 31, 2026

This means the SwitchTech mobile app is no longer being updated or supported.

SwitchTech Cores and the infrastructure that supports them will cease to function on December 31, 2026.

Please contact Lockt or your reseller for information regarding replacement options.

As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver forward-thinking products that meet the evolving needs of our customers, we have made the decision to discontinue new sales of BEST Switch™ Tech cores and related system components, effective September 30, 2025. 

Important End Dates: 

New sales – September 30, 2025 

SwitchDeck (web portal), Switch App, and supporting backend services: December 31, 2026 

Technical support: December 31, 2026 

Warranty coverage will continue to be honored within the standard limited warranty period (3 years for cores, 1 year for fobs).

Dear Customers,

Please be advised that older versions of the Switch™ Mobile Access app will reach end of life on January 31, 2026.

To avoid any service interruptions, ensure that your mobile app is updated to a supported version before this date. The minimum supported versions will be:

- iOS (Apple): Version 2.0.4 or later

- Android: Version 2.0.16 or later
